JAM, HONEY, MUSHROOMS, AND GOURMET MAGAZINE!

Many of you locals know the JamNGrannys from the local farmers market.  They sell excellent jam (my favorite is the blueberry lime).  They also sell honey, and so I've bought some jars of raw honey from them to sell in the store.  For those of you with allergies, local honey is supposed to be good for you.  For those of you without allergies, it's just plain delicious.  Verna, one of the two JamNGrannys, recently got a call from Gourmet magazine!  She's sent the folks at Gourmet some jams for them to sample.  I'm so excited for them and hope to read about their jam in Gourmet.  You can visit the JamNGrannys website at www.jamngrannys.com

The shop and website both feature Millard Family Mushrooms, which were written about in Gourmet magazine a few years ago.  These mushrooms are very sought after and another true local favorite.
