It's summer and some favorite visitors have returned.

The "quilting ladies" are here and have invited me to dinner on Monday.  These are very organized ladies who plan their menus out in advance.  On Thursday they invited me for Monday and told me the menu since I want to bring the appropriate wine. 

Olen (age 8) is here with his grandma.  He's a delightful kid whose artwork is on display in The Wine Place.  He gave me a big hug (upon request) today and also told me all about his recent payment from the Tooth Fairy.  Then he went on his way to mail my letter for me at the post office.

A fun family was in for the first time today, and young Morgan drew me a very cool picture.  It says YACHATS - GO THERE.  GOURMET LADY - GO THERE.  Maybe he'll be my new Vice President of Advertising. 

Today we had a "pinch hitter" working in the store.  Yesterday I had realized that in the next 6 weeks, this Sat. would be the only day that I didn't have a helper in the Gourmet Lady store.  And I simply *must* have one on Saturday as it is busy, busy, busy.  I was bemoaning this face outloud when local customer Lynne heard this and volunteered to come to my resuce.  She worked all day and was a charming and talented salesperson who clearly likes gourmet food.  Thank you, Lynne!
