Favorite customers return!

It's fun to see familiar faces return to the coast, and of course, to the Gourmet Lady shop.  Last year on a very hot day, I noticed people were pretty cranky.  In an effort to keep a more cheerful spirit in the shop, I played Beach Boys music all afternoon and told customers they'd receive a discount if they demonstrated some surfing gestures.  It was great fun at the counter watching all these surfing poses and it made for a day of lots of laughs.  The first customers to do the surfing gestures was this group of ladies who came to Yachats for a weekend of quilting.  They were such good sports.  Now they've returned for more quilting and stopped in to buy things for a gourmet feast.  Their menu sounds delicious.  Note to the quilting ladies:  I'm available for dinner!
